The Defender brings a completely new standard to Wildland fire suits. Designed to set the benchmark, the Defender Wildland suit includes military grade FR plastic hardware that passes heat resistance of 260°C, even after 40 wash and dry cycles – meeting the high demands of the latest Wildland standard.

With comfort and ergonomics at the forefront of the design, the Defender suit also uses 3D padding and carefully placed panelling to improve breathability; providing the much-needed airflow to reduce the risk of heat stress and ensure that wearers can be confident in high-intensity situations.

With glow in the dark tape as standard, lightweight fabrics that provide brilliant protection yet are highly breathable and durable, and our industry-leading 96 size and fit options – the Defender Wildland suit is designed to set the new standard.

902 Jacket Features

• Strategic panelling that’s ergonomically shaped for wearer comfort and ease of movement; underneath the arm and the sleeve at the elbow area
• Available in colours red to match trouser (as well as optional yellow)
• Concealed front zip closure covered by a storm flap
• Adjustable collar tab for better fit
• High shaped mandarin collar for better comfort and protection
• Thumb loop to stop sleeving riding up when arms are extended, features elastic attachment for ease of movement
• Adjustable cuff tabs for better fit and to prevent the entry of burning debris and provide secure closure with gloves
• Vertical welt pocket on right side as worn for survey maps
• Two bellow radio pockets, adjustable for different radio heights, flaps can accommodate radio antennas at both sides, pockets above top reflective tape
• Shoulder reinforcement and 3D padding for added comfort when wearing backpacks
• Stitched ventilation holes under each armpit
• All closures are easily operated whilst wearing gloves
• Two microphone loops at upper chest

903 Trouser Features

• Internal elasticated waist band at the back
• Front waist adjustment for better fit
• H-Bar Removable braces with quick adjustment
• Double layer crotch gusset for comfort
• Reinforced fabric at the knee and shin area, double layer of fabrics to protect against thorns and gorse or undergrowth
• Leg bottoms have a gusset and secured adjustable closure system to facilitate donning and doffing whilst wearing wildland boots.
• Two large bellow combat style pockets, featuring glove hanging loops, secured with reinforced edge flaps, including carabine snap hook, pocket size 16cm x 20cm
